Day 01: Cairo
  • Upon landing at Cairo International Airport, our esteemed guests are welcomed with our exclusive “meet and greet” service. Following this warm reception, we arrange seamless transportation to your designated hotel for check-in, ensuring a smooth start to their Egyptian tour.
  • Meals: None
  • Our day begins with a visit to the only remaining monument of the ancient world’s Seven Wonders, the majestic Great Pyramid of Khufu. We'll then explore the Pyramids of Khafra and Menkaura, followed by the well-preserved Valley Temple of Khafra and the enigmatic Great Sphinx.
  • After exploring these incredible structures, we'll enjoy a delicious lunch at a charming restaurant. Then, we will proceed to the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), the largest archaeological museum in the world. This impressive new building showcases 100,000 artifacts from various periods of Egypt’s illustrious past, including 20,000 items that will be on public display for the first time, featuring the complete collection of King Tutankhamun.
  • We will end the day with a welcome dinner at Mena House.

  • On the Spiritual Cairo tour, we will explore some of Cairo's earliest religious landmarks. Our journey begins with a visit to the El Muallaqa Church, which dates back to the late 4th and early 5th centuries. This basilica, known as the "Hanging Church," is so named because of its location atop the southern gate of the ancient Fortress of Babylon. After being destroyed in a 9th-century earthquake, the church was rebuilt in the 11th century and served as the center of the Coptic Christian Church in Egypt until the 14th century.
  • Next, we'll stop at the historic Ben Ezra Synagogue, which was constructed between the 6th and 9th centuries AD. It houses a Jewish Heritage Library with documents discovered in 1896 that detail Jewish life under Arab rule and the relationships between various Jewish communities.
  • After enjoying lunch at the local restaurant Abu Shakra, we'll head to Memphis, a city founded around 3,100 BC by King Menes, the ruler who unified Upper and Lower Egypt. Initially, Memphis was likely a fortress, allowing Menes to control the vital trade routes between Upper Egypt and the Delta. By the Third Dynasty, the site had grown into a significant city, as evidenced by the structures found at Saqqara.
  • We'll then visit the Sakkara site, a key part of the necropolis of Memphis. This ancient burial ground is where many kings of Egypt's 1st and 2nd Dynasties were laid to rest. The site has yielded several major discoveries, including the tomb of a prime minister, a queen's pyramid, and the burial site of a dynasty-founding king's son. Each discovery offers unique insights into Egypt's rich history.

  • Cairo Tour (National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, Old Cairo, Citadel of Salah Eldeen)
  • After exploring the museum, we will enjoy a delicious lunch at one of Cairo’s top restaurants.
  • Next, we’ll continue the tour with a visit to the Citadel of Mohamed Ali, also known as the Fortress of Salah al-Din, built in 1183. Perched on the Muqattam Hills, this impressive fortress offers panoramic views of the city. Within its grounds is the stunning Alabaster Mosque, with its beautiful domes and glittering mosaics, a sacred place where Muslims gather for daily prayers.
  • Overnight on board of the cruise in Aswan
  • You’ll then have a (free roaming tour) to explore Khan Al-Khalili Market, one of Egypt’s oldest and most famous bazaars. Stroll through its historic alleys, discover unique antiques and gifts, and pick up souvenirs to commemorate your trip to Egypt.

  • In the early morning, you’ll arrive at Cairo International Airport to board your flight to Aswan. Upon reaching Aswan, you'll head to the luxurious Nile Cruise, where you'll spend the next three nights, embarking on a serene journey from Aswan to Luxor.
  • After enjoying a delicious lunch, the cruise excursion begins with a visit to the impressive Aswan High Dam, followed by an exploration of the beautiful Philae Temple.
  • In the evening, you can opt to attend the mesmerizing Sound and Light show at Philae Temple for a truly unforgettable experience.

  • You may opt to choose to have an Optional Abu Simple Tour by bus at early morning before the main program start.
  • Begin your day with an early sail to Kom Ombo, located about 28 miles north of Aswan, where you’ll visit the unique Temple of Kom Ombo, also known as the Ptolemaic Temple of Sobek and Haroeris. Perched on a high dune overlooking the Nile, this temple was initially constructed by Ptolemy VI Philometor in the early second century BC. Ptolemy XIII later added the outer and inner hypostyle halls. The outer enclosure wall and parts of the courtyard, built by Augustus after 30 BC, have mostly disappeared over time. Additionally, the area around the Kom-Ombo village is home to tombs dating back to the Old Kingdom.
  • Lastly Sail to Edfu for having dinner and overnight at your cruise.

  • Upon arriving in Edfu, we will explore the magnificent Temple of Edfu dedicated to Horus, the falcon-headed god. This temple was constructed over the reins of six different Ptolemaic rulers. The reliefs on the outer walls provide extensive information about the temple’s construction, which began in 237 BC under Ptolemy III Euergetes I and concluded in 57 BC.
  • The construction was temporarily halted for about 20 years due to the unrest during the reigns of Ptolemy IV and Ptolemy V Epiphanes. Edfu Temple is not only the best-preserved ancient temple in Egypt but also the second largest, following the Karnak Temple. It is believed that this site marks the location of the legendary battle between Horus and Seth, with the current temple being the last in a series of temples built here.
  • In the afternoon, we’ll begin our tour of Luxor’s East Bank, starting with the remarkable Karnak Temple. Our next stop will be the iconic Luxor Temple.
  • In the evening, you have the option to experience the captivating Sound and Light Show at Karnak Temple for a memorable nighttime adventure.
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

  • Begin your morning with breakfast aboard the Nile Cruise, followed by checkout.
  • In the early morning, we will visit the West Bank of Luxor, home to the ancient necropolis. Here, you'll explore the Valley of the Kings, including the extraordinary tombs of Rameses V & VI and the famous tomb of King Tutankhamun. We’ll also visit the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the towering Colossi of Memnon.
  • After the tour, you’ll catch your flight back to Cairo, where you'll be transferred to your final departure terminal.
